Champion Green is a voluntary campaign designed to support small and local fledgling businesses across the country. The pioneering digital pop-up is an ecommerce platform to showcase entrepreneurial flair and to facilitate sales and brand awareness for small independent businesses, according to Ines Obtinalla, Head of Marketing for Visa in Ireland. “By evolving the digital capabilities of small businesses and providing access to our payments network, Visa connects small Irish businesses to more customers on a daily basis, and improves their customer experience.

“As part of Champion Green, Visa helps create even more selling channels, such as this exciting new digital pop-up, to amplify potential sales for small businesses to a nationwide, or even international, customer base”. Kilkenny Design, in partnership with Visa, is launching the new local online shopping hub to continue supporting local businesses. Champion Green already successfully funds ‘bricks & mortar’ store opportunities for retail start-ups, so this option for small businesses to extend their online presence will be equally valuable.
